“This is a family-owned place and the pride of ownership shows. It is spotless, as they are constantly cleaning. Nothing is too much to ask and they will organize whatever you want (such as snorkeling trips, cars, etc). They will do laundry for you at $6 per load. Massages were amazing at $12 per hour. Their chef is just spectacular (lots of people from other resorts were coming to eat) and she will give you a private cooking class at $25 per person, which includes your meal. (Be sure to try her……

“Very charming hotel in Candidasa, with a very polite and kind staff. However the hotel is worn and in need of a noticeable renovation. And the toiletseat in our room was disgusting and should have been changed years ago, such a shame for such a charming place.”

“The staff is not really prompt in responses, we usually had to wait for a while before they were back to us. Our room is out of electricity and they were not able to offer the same room type which we believe that the electricity problem already occurred before our arrival. Besides, since we have pre-specified that we are 3 people when we ordered, we only got a double bed and additional bed had to be paid for. However, the staff were generally friendly. If you are really interested in the tourist……

“Nice little bungalows with aircon and outdoor bathroom Rooms are a bit small, but great value for money. Bed was very comfy. Straight on the ocean front with direct access to the beach. “My wife and I just returned from a trip to Bali for our 25th anniversary. This was our second hotel out of 3 which we stayed at during our week there as we traveled around the island. We both had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend this homestay to any others coming to Bali. In retrospect thinking about the 3 locations (Ubud, east side, and southern peninsula) this location was our favorite.
