Casa Brisas del Mar'-Beachfront Paradise’- Ideal for a family who wishes to spend a pleasant stay in complete tranquility, far from the madness of hotels. You can enjoy a cozy beachfront house with a pool, stunning ocean views, and your beach balcony completely to yourself.

The house is on the island's Southeast side in Patillas, PR. It is a true Caribbean Sea getaway paradise, right on Playa Esmeralda (Emerald Beach), a quiet beach on the Caribbean coast. It is 1.30 to 2 hours from San Juan Luis Munoz Marin Airport.

The home offers 3 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. The living room has a large picture window with magnificent, uninterrupted sea views. It has a fully equipped kitchen, A/C in all bedrooms, complete furnishings and an outside dining area where you can enjoy the ocean breezes from your private balcony.
NOTES:
1. ONLY the 3 bedrooms have an A/C unit
2. We do not provide generators in case of a power outage.
3. Parking - Only provide parking for 2 cars.
4. Important Note about Supply items: a. We only provide a few basic items for the first 3 days of your reservation. Only provide a limited amount of toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and shampoo. b. We do not provide laundry soap. There is a store close by the house where guests can buy those items if needed, and while driving toward the house, there is a Walmart store.

Notes:
1. Because Puerto Rico is a small island, you can get around by car to just about any destination within 1 to 2 hours. Patillas is on the southeastern tip of the island, surrounded by Caribbean beaches. It is a small community with authentic local Puerto Rican charm and a true island feel, with clean, beautiful beaches and mountain scenery.
2. Because we provided a pool, we require our guests to review our Short-Rental Agreement Contract: Adult guests must agree to our short-term rental agreement. *** Please review the Short-Term Contract Agreement *** By completing the reservation, the guest AGREES and ACCEPTS all rules and regulations as stipulated in the Short-Rental Agreement document.
3. BIG GROUPS: If you have a large group, we have a second home a 1-minute drive or a 10-minute walk from each other (Casa Tropical - 1 min to the beach and private pool” OR www.vrbo.com/732928). The 2nd house is 15 minutes from this house (Casa Esmeralda del Sur www.vrbo.com/1526308). All houses are well equipped with all the necessities your family needs to have a FANTASTIC and FUN vacation in our relaxing and spotless homes “Guaranteed.”

Paradise!
Just what we needed! An outstanding experience. The house and pool were immaculate. Such a comfortable and well appointed home away from home. The views are just wonderful. Excellent communication and easy checkin. We enjoyed looking for shells and sea glass on the beach. Bring water shoes, the beach is rocky. So relaxing to enjoy the sunrise from the hammocks. Kitchen has everything you need. We can’t say enough good things about this place. Would love to come back!

Wonderful Stay
Cozy, clean home with wonderful view! We lost electricity for a few hours (Due to the blackout on the island) however back on by early evening. The fridge stayed very cold even with the power outage. We were out all day the day of the power outage hiking El Yunque - which was amazing day trip. Definitely bring mosquito spray! Hector and Aida stayed in touch and were very helpful with recommendations in the local area. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Host
Aida is an amazing host who provided generous care to my family and I during our stay. The house is great and equipped with cold A/C. One thing to note about the property is DO NOT SWIM in the beach. Not only are there plenty of rocks but the current is way too strong to swim in — even for experienced swimmers. Drive to another beach if you’re going to swim.

Great for the family
Property was amazing. Our family enjoyed the private pool and direct access to the beach. It was great for our kids to experience a different culture without excessive tourist. The house feels bigger than it looks in the photos. We had 8 people and had plenty of space. Hector, the property manager, is so welcoming and personable!

Relaxing Hideaway
Nice beachfront property. The view is amazing!! Beach is rocky, so not really great for swimming, but nice swimming beaches are not far away. Pool was very refreshing! Perfect for our family. Location is not far from grocery, gas, & dining... also reasonable distance from activities/landmarks that Puerto Rico is known for/has to offer. This was a wonderful place to stay and we definitely recommend!

Amazing views
The ocean views and the pool in the backyard are indescribable. We woke up to watch the sunrise every morning. The house itself could use a little updating and repair, but was comfortable enough for our stay. There are wonderful restaurants very close by. We loved "living like a local" for a month. Aida and her team made sure we had everything we needed and were quick to respond to any issues. I would gladly come back for another month!

Nice family vacation
The property met out needs. A little noisy turning over in the bunk bed and a bit crowded in that bed room. Lights flickered on and off when using the dryer or microwave. The beach and pool/ backyard provided lots of relaxing time. Overall, a nice stay. Would stay again.

The exterior of the property needs a little more maintenance. Perfect interiors. Beautiful and relax place. The refrigerator should be bigger, but maybe depends on the plans of the stay. The owners and the manager Hector are super attentive.

We had an amazing stay.
We had an amazing stay. The house is just as advertised. Perfect small town feel for a relaxing vacation. Grocery stores were about 15-20 minute drive. We were able to eat meals at home during the day and then go to amazing restaurants in the evenings. Hector was so nice and helpful. I just want to add that every single person we met on our stay was super friendly and always wanting to give us tips on what we should see and eat. Very Proud Community.

What a beautiful place!!
The property was adequately furnished for our stay. (We did contribute a couple of floaties for the pool though. 😀 ) But to spend a week soaking up the sights and sounds of this beautiful place was like being in paradise! Our only suggestions would be to stay on top of the maintenance, like making sure the pool lights work, and not sending the pool cleaning guy over in the middle of the day while we were in the pool. Otherwise, we would definitely come back and rent this place again! Thank you!!

Wonderful, relaxing stay!
We had a great stay at this house and the views are amazing! Being so close to the water was great even though the current was too strong to swim. The pool was perfect for the kids, even our teenagers, and altogether this was a wonderful location. We had excellent communication with the property manager, Ivette, and she helped with anything we needed.

Amazing location
The property description and photos are accurate. The pool was perfect for my 8 and 10 year old kids, it wasn’t over their head but deep enough to swim in and I could hang out on the deck or the yard and be right there. To swim in the ocean I recommend water shoes as the beach has rocks/old coral. A little to the left is sandy though. We tried to snorkel but the water wasn’t very clear. It was actually always windy (early morning, all day, and at night). Not sure if that’s how it always is. I loved walking on the beach though, it felt like you were on a deserted island! I rarely saw another person and the buildings you can see are easy to ignore. We couldn’t get the TV to work with the remote provided even after putting in new batteries. Not a big deal for the adults but the kids wanted to watch a movie at night. Be aware the plates, bowls, and most of the drinkware are plastic. Maybe not an issue for some people, but we like using real stuff. You are literally in paradise so it isn’t a big deal, but something to be aware of. All communication from the owner and the local coordinator was great, quick and clear. We walked down to a little market for basics like water and eggs. Highly recommend Waikiki Beach and Food if they are open while you are there!

This property has a great view in the backyard. My children ages 4to8 enjoyed the pool as well. The house was clean however the house needs major updating. The walls are cracked throughout the house, the kitchen is very old and had all old plastic plates and cups. Also please know that this property is 1.5 hours away from the airport. When staying at this property you will definitely need to rent a car as the closest coffee shop is 25 min away. There is not much to do around the area except for a bar that is 15min away it's open all week the rest of the bars open only on the weekends. We were not able to find a decent place to eat dinner with the kids all week. The ocean in the back of the house is extremely rocky and it's not swim friendly, however there is a sand beach about 15 min away.

nice beach house away from it all
If you are looking to get away from crowds then this is the place for you! Although it is on a very busy road, it wasn’t loud at night or in the back of the house. The small pool is very nice and the backyard amazing! A couple things that would have been nice is better explanation of all the keys handed to you. We figured it out as we went but a mark on each key or color to distinguish it from the rest would be helpful. Also it would have been helpful to come into the place with some simple supplies like dish soap, bar soap, paper towels. Some of the dishes were not clean also and the bathroom by the master bedroom could have been cleaned better. These are minor things if you look at the big picture of the beautiful property.

Ocean Retreat
My family of 5 stayed here over spring break and enjoyed every minute of it! The views of the beach were stunning, our kids loved playing in the pool for hours, and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. There were beach front restaurants within walking distance that we visited and enjoyed some local sangria. We used this as our home base and did day trips to Old San Juan and El Yunque National Forest. We plan on booking this place on our next visit❤️

Gorgeous beachfront in Patillas
On the beach with its beautifully changing seascape, hypnotic waves, & bliss-inducing breezes, we truly enjoyed our two week stay here! Casa Brisas Del Mar’s structural layout maximizes its ocean view and the house layout blesses its ambience with natural light. The 3 bedrooms (2 bathrooms!) are nicely appointed, and the outside deck overlooks the backyard, a small pool & the Caribbean. We loved spending time on the deck & also in the glorious light-filled sitting/family entertainment room, and walking the pebbly beach (beach shoes recommended!). The all-plastic plates/glasses kitchen seemed somewhat incongruous with this property, more suitable for carry out meals - there are several restaurants within a short drive - than for any serious cooking (the gas stove lacks broil, bake maxes @ 250*: even boiling water for pasta requires patience) and many usually anticipated kitchen furnishings were surprisingly absent (microwaveable plates, a reasonable selection of pans, etc) as well as typically supplied items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, detergent for the washing machine, etc. We were also surprised that the property manager never met us on arrival or provided any orientation (it took us several days to get the hang of the place) and remained somewhat unavailable. Overall, however, for the location, price, & view, Casa del Brisas Del Mar is a *bargain* - particularly for families with children. Highly recommended!

Heaven
This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and we are in love with this little island. The house was set in a quiet area on the south side of the island and was perfect for our first visit. We did a couple of day trips but most of our time was spent on the beach just laying about. The thing we almost missed was the fruit, we stopped at a stand down the road and the pineapple was awesome the avacados were spectacular not to mention the people at the stand. Loved it and will definitely return.
