“This was a fun place for my son and me to meet halfway between where he lives in NC and we live in SC. If you like historic houses, this is a real treasure! We appreciated the history of the property and furnishings as well as hearing more about the history of Society Hill and the local area. We enjoy both history and the outdoors, so we explored not only Society Hill, but also the historic districts of nearby Bennettsville and Cheraw, as well as Cheraw State Park and the lovely walking trail……

“The cottage was very clean and centrally located. The linens were wonderful, white towels and crisp sheets. The furnishings are newer and comfortable, while tiny, the bathroom is quite efficient. The only down side is the noisy W Carolina St, very noisy until midnight or do, but otherwise a hous little cottage.”

“Unexpected treasure! The property is very large on the outside the inside even better. It was 10 in my party and we never felt crowded. Excellent find!”
