“We wanted a place to get away for some peace, quiet and relaxation to celebrate our wedding anniversary and that's EXACTLY what we got! We felt right at home at the tranquil Runaway Retreat and didn't want to leave (our dog Stella seemed to feel the same)! We will be back and will stay longer next time. :) I highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to get away in a quiet place to relax and unwind. “We were in town for a 2 day volleyball tournament. We booked this place because it was reasonably priced and only 10 minutes from Gallipolis and 20 minutes from The Root gym. The only thing that could have been better was warmer weather to sit out on the deck. The cabin was beautiful on the inside, perfect for our quick stay and the beds were super cozy. The hostess and her family are absolutely the sweetest and our homemade breakfast that they delivered was delicious!! We will stay here again……
