“We were in need of a nice, relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what we got. There were four of us (me, my husband, my 16-year-old, and my 11-year-old) and we each had our own space. We loved going down to the dock, and there is also a town beach just down the road. The home is filled with fun antiques and reminds you of a clean, well-kept, and charming grandmother’s house. We wanted a low-key vacation, and so we enjoyed short jaunts (less than 15 mins away) to Kent to enjoy its downtown and……

“This was the second time I stayed at this property and really do love it. It is close enough to my family in Ridgefield for me to fee like I am just around the corner, while being in a quiet, peaceful private property. The setup was perfect for myself and my mom, but could also accommodate a larger group. It isn’t a big space, but had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be looking to stay here again on another visit. Thank you!”

While this cottage looks small on the outside, it actually has two spacious bedrooms, an office, a tv room, a living room, kitchen and laundry/mud room. It was the perfect size for the four of us. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and are into drawing, cooking or reading books to the sounds of trees rustling and water flowing across the street, you will be in heaven here.
