“I was pleasantly surprised! The house looked even better in person than it did in the photos. It is warm and comfortable and they had everything we needed to enjoy our time away. The house was clean and the surrounding property was well maintained. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to enjoy more of the outdoors. ”

“Newtown is a special New England village that was founded in 1705. This 3-bedroom house on a small lake was perfect for 6 of us to relax in between family activities around the area. Best for folks who can handle steps. Gorgeous main, open living space takes up entire main floor where we played games, watched tv, cooked, ate and read. Recommended. ”

“Considering that area does not have convenient hotels, this location was perfect for the event we attended. It was nice of them to vacate their home so we could stay - though we wish that would have been communicated. There is no extra room with twin beds - at least not functional. The property is nice. Whomever took the pictures did a great job. It worked for us for the short time we were in the area.”

“This place is amazing!! The house had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay and also be able to host some of our family in the area was precious. My daughters rented equipment for the babies which worked out well. The house is very spacious and 5 adults and 3 children fit nicely. Very highly recommend. The pier was fun to hang out on but due to weather we were to enjoy the lake as much. Easy to find, and owners were very responsive. ”

“My wife and I, along with my two daughters and grandchildren stayed at the Queen City Cottage for 4 nights. We needed to add an extra day at the last minute and Marissa was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean upon our arrival and entry was a breeze. It's a bedroom, 1.5 bath, with extra bathroom in basement in laundry room. Location wa great! Restaurants and shopping minutes away. Outdoor space was tranquil with table and chairs under covered back porch. Wifi was fine, TV had……
