Perfect for a long-term stay

The apartment was exactly as described and had everything I needed for a 6 week stay. The location was great. Easy access to I-95 and Providence. Sam was a great host and VERY responsive to all of my questions. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Having a washer and dryer in the basement was an added bonus. The on-street parking was not a problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Honestly Would Try Vrbo Again, But Would Not Reccomend It Because of the Dishonesty of This Listing

The owner was okay with communication and I appreciate that they were willing to help me resolve issues, but everything was so terribly unprofessional I honestly wish I would’ve just sucked it up and paid for a hotel after this experience. To start off, the reason I booked with Vrbo was under the understanding that I would not be staying with other people and I could relax on my own. Walls are also thin as paper, so I would get spooked that there was another person in my room, because they have other people renting with them and randomly, I would hear yelling while settling in to sleep. Also arriving and departing, I had issues. Key code was not given to me despite the host telling me they would send it to me 4 hours prior to check in and by the time of check in, they still did not have the place clean. Their excuse was that because I did not send them an ETA, they did not have the place clean. However, I was never asked for an ETA and regardless, they decide the check in time, so they are obligated to abide by it. Also not a fan how they tried to blame me for not giving them my arrival information beforehand. Furthermore, I notified them that I would be leaving soon the day that my stay was ending, but not when I was leaving. I forgot something in the room and 18 minutes later, I came back to grab it. It was already gone. I guess the helper there heard me leave and thought I had left it for her. This all happened before the official check out time.

Unclear instructions on how to get in. Took a few tries. Check-in was far too late. I was unable to get in prior to my plans because Check-in was at 6pm. Because of that, I wasn't able to get in until 1:30 am. It was very tough to find at that time and there wasn't very much for parking. However, it is a good spot for 1 night when passing through.

Great Stay!

Only complaint is a noisy air conditioner. Otherwise great location! Comfy bed! Everything you could need right there and host was very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely keep in mind for future stays.

Not a Safe Place

My girlfriend came to Boston to visit me in October 2021, and we couldn't even stay one night, yet we paid for a long weekend. While there is a keyless deadbolt entrance to the building, the room itself had a interior bedroom door lock on it with no other locking mechanism. Other people (strangers) were staying in rooms within the building as well. This was not a safe place for us to stay overnight without properly securing ourselves. The neighborhood was also not in a good area of town. When I reached out to the host, I did not receive a response, nor did I get my money back. VRBO could only advise leaving a review here. We ended up paying twice as much at a Hilton Garden Inn, but there was NO WAY we could stay here. DO NOT RESERVE THIS ROOM, unless you are an expert in self-defense. As for the room itself, the pictures do it justice. It is not as nice as the pictures. We've used VRBO several times over the past few years, and this is the first bad experience we have had. It was VERY disappointing!! -ZG

Terrific place for short stay

My wife and I stayed here during a quick weekend visit for a wedding. The communication with the property manager was convos and clear and always timely. It was easily accessible and clean, and it had all the amenities we needed in both the kitchen area and the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the TV was located conveniently for viewing while going to bed. We were close to many things, like pharmacies and restaurants, as well as Starbucks; so, it was in a great location. There was free street parking directly on front of the building, and the neighborhood was quiet. Great place for a quick stay, and just what we needed!

Nice stay

This is a comfortable, clean and convenient place with a good kitchen and bathroom. It worked great for me. Parking was easy. It’s quiet too. I’d stay here again.

Pleased in Pawtucket!

I came up from Jersey for a baby shower and left my boyfriend home. Sam was great to deal with and the apartment was so quaint and perfect for me! It was clean, had a full kitchen if you wanted to cook & the bed was comfortable! The sheets were so soft & the bed was just what I needed after a long drive. I did check out Box Seats for dinner with my friend who lives up here & I went to Snub Brewery which I highly recommend. Cannot say enough good things about the brewery and felt comfortable going alone- it felt like home with the girls working and locals! I definitely recommend Sam’s property, as it’s just enough, cozy & close to a lot!

Great host, nice kitchenette

I enjoyed having the kitchenette for my stay here. It was adequately stocked/equipped to be able to cook breakfasts and dinner. Bed was comfy, tv had a million channels. AC was a bit loud but no big deal, it was cool. Check in and access was easy and our host checked in after our arrival to make sure all was good. When I requested a later checkout on the morning of our departure, Sam was responsive and accommodating which I appreciated!

Sam was VERY responsive to our needs. Could have used more than one towel each, I have long hair and usually wrap my hair up while drying my body after a shower. The pots and pans were not of the greatest, they could use a good washing. It was PERFECT for our needs for the weekend.

Perfect Spot

This was the perfect spot to be. Being only ~15 minutes to downtown Providence was a perk because we wanted to explore towns in the area around Pawtucket as well. Clean place and very friendly host. Made sure we had everything and was comfortable. Check-in was a breeze and everything was no contact so we were able to get in when we needed to and was able to leave easily. Would stay here again for sure!

Hard to get a hold of but good once you do.

It's a little hard to getIn touch with the owner prior to our arrival. Once we did get a hd of him, he was responsive, let us in and was easy to deal with. There are three properties on the building and we stayed in a larger one. One thing that you should know is that there really is no common area. Just a kitchen and bedrooms. Not a problem for us but can imagine it would be for others.

Could not enter

Earlier in the day, we were contacted by the owner of the property asking when we would arrive. We immediately told them at 4. From then on we heard nothing about check-in or arrival from the owner. We arrived at the property at 4, with no information on how to enter the property. The house number was not even located on the property. We messaged and called the owner using the posted information on VRBO. Every time we called the posted number, they hung up on us within 5-10 seconds. After standing around for an hour in the 95 degree heat with no response from the owner, we opted to leave as we needed to get to our concert. About 45 minutes later, an unlisted number called us asking us where we were. We already paid for parking in the city (which were not planning to do), and then were expected to turn around to head back out so the owner to instruct us how to enter the building. The owner of the property then told us that we could contact him for entry into the building after the concert, when we asked him if he would be available after the concert when we called he did not have a response. We then made the decision that we would rather drive home than stay at his apartment and have asked for our money back.
