“Firstly the property itself is Lovely and the out door space is great you cant fault the views. the house has every thing practical you will need for your stay however it was missing just a few small things that would make it even better and give the stay more of wow factor and that is simply out door lights with such beautiful views for me it was missing evening lights it was very dark at night apart from a dim lit red and green light over the garden tub. it was missing Solar lights over the……

“This property is a wonderful place to stay. Fantastic location in Lyme with off street parking which is like hens teeth in the area. The property is well appointed and incredibly comfortable. Communication was excellent and would highly recommend for a break of any length”

“This a sizeable property and well placed for easy access to Beach, Town and shops. It has 5 bedrooms including a downstairs bedroom and en-suite. Some updating needed of facilities which has been fed back. However, this was a great success as it’s very hard to find suitable accommodation for people with mobility issues and I was staying with my parents who are 88 & 89 respectively. “It was a little hard to find, as entry is easy to miss and I wasn't sure which of the cabins it was. But once I got there it was worth the effort: a very nice shepherd's hut, with good facilities and the view was wonderful even in early spring, the only nearby neighbours are the pheasants and deer.Bad: Drive down (or especially back up) is very steep on gravel track so took some practice to get up. A couple of maintenance issues/improvements/need for deep clean. Good: Location, accommodation,……

“The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. ”

“Lovely chalet and facilities. Only 2 problems noted. The grass around the chalet needed cutting. We reported a fault with the toilet continuously the house keeper’s husband came out but was unable to fix it. We had to switch of the water to the boiler on the night time as it disturbed our sleep. besides these 2 issues our stay was very enjoyable and would definitely stay there again. ”

Comfortable hotel

"Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Exeter. Special thanks to the hotel manager and one of the hotel staff members for swiftly taking care of the air conditioner issue; despite ending up being wet in the process you both have handled the issue with grace and kindness."
