The location of the home, the neighborhood, proximity to the water and to local trails were all outstanding. The home was clean, beautifully set up, perfectly designed and exceeded all of our needs. “Dog friendly, fenced yard. Nature lovers paradise. Darling property a stone’s throw from downtown Blacksburg and VT. No a/c meant windows open and the neighborhood noise was significant. Made it a bit hard to sleep. No TV. Parrots/fish on property / parrots are also loud. Owner warned us and offered to take them but I wasn’t clear about the situation, so I didn’t ask them to take them. My fault. 3 bedroom with interesting decor. ”

“Family of 5 in town for an multi year high school reunion in Narrows (15 mins away). Nancy was very responsive, very kind and even had fresh flowers! The description is very accurate.Beds were super comfortable. We all had plenty of space and yes, as noted, it is by the main Hwy (460) so if you are a very light sleeper you may hear large trucks during the night. However, we all grew up in this county and were fine with it. Highly encourage you to hike the beautiful cascades fall (4 miles round……

“Amazing location, with walking access to the river. The house is close enough to campus that you can easily get an uber to a game. This place was pet-friendly and had the cutest kitchen. All around great experience. ”

“Beautiful, well-appointed new construction close enough to VT campus for events and visiting students, but just far enough away for views and privacy. Great outdoor spaces on front and back porches, complete with a grill. Thoughtful touches everywhere from snacks and coffee to extra blankets and plush towels to razors and toothpaste, in case you forgot. And fascinating site history too. Would definitely stay again! Close to Rising Silo Brewery, Heritage Park and Gateway Trails.”

“We had a great time! The little town is great and the house was nice and spacious. We had everything we needed and the communication was top notch. It was a little cobwebby but I assume that is just because it’s a little rustic and in the country and it didn’t bother me. ”
