“The property is very charming. While mainly an event venue, as a one or more days stay it is a real value. A similar hotel would have been about 50% more. It is close to old town Salinas and the Steinbeck center, as well as a half hour from Monterey. Very quiet and lovely grounds. ”

“We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.”
