When we called VRBO (very difficult from abroad) they said this was a false listing (my daughter had to do this in the states as it was too difficult form afar). We eventually was reimbursed but we had to scramble to find a new place late a night on our own.”

“Such a gem of a property, and exactly true to photos. I love to find unique places to stay and this choice was it! They tended to our needs quickly, and even came and cleaned and filled the pool while we were there so our boys could use it all day. The only fallback is it is 30 minutes away from Bacalar, so if you don't have plans to cook on your holiday (that was me) it is a bit of driving. But if you stock up with fruit from the road stands and some food before arriving, you will be glad……
