“We drove from Pennsylvania for a 3-night stay to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday. Because so many family members were arriving from out-of-state, we chose the cottage for its proximity to Emerald Isle where they live. The cottage was very comfortable and extremely quiet, which was an added bonus. We were worried about the loft ceiling since the listing indicates it is recommended for children, but it was not a problem for our adult daughter. “The house is very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. It is located on the second row only a short walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the living room couch. We saw a dolphin from the back porch. The beds were comfortable. We really liked the “hidden” kitchen table drawers where the utensils were kept. The greenery in front of the house provided privacy and a sound barrier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”
