“We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. If you are after elegant, refined and well finished accommodation……

“Very nice of winery owner, have are good red wine and white wine. Large house, all facilities are available and there is a chimney stove for heating.”

“We stayed for a week at Serenity and loved our time there. It is exactly as the pictures show. Plenty of room and unique features. The deck has a wonderful view and the location is great also.”

“We had a nice stay, great location over looking river, we saw a Bandicoot in the garden one night. Would have been nice with little extras like milk, dishwasher tablets etc, tourist information, pool was dirty. But lovely overall ”

“We stayed for a week and the house was nice, had enough heating and cooling and large enough to accomadate 5 of us very comfortably..was close enough to shops and city of hobart with out being to close.. house was well maintained and had enough for you to get by with like a washing machine and dishwasher etc..so overall the accomadation is recomwnded by us and should not disapoint...”
