The house the mill of Cicera is in a small village of 90 inhabitants called Cicera at the foot of the Picos de Europa in Cantabria. The area is full of mountain trails and offers many opportunities to enjoy nature and the mountains. You can go hiking, 4x4, horse riding, paragliding, canyoning, rafting, via ferrata, mountain-bike and discover the most hidden places.

We enjoyed the property and loved its location. There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! But it was in a great location and was perfectly adequate and enjoyable for a week’s stay.

Wij hadden een prima vakantie in Cicera. Mooi, ruim huis met houthaard en grote tuin en n goed bed. Prachtige uitzichten, geweldig mooi berglandschap, authentiek dorpje met zelfs een herberg, wandelingen vanuit het huisje en vooraf een app met fimpje van de route naar het huis. Wat een Service!! Een aanrader wat ons betreft.

Vakantiehuis met bijzonderheden

Het huis, mooi gelegen in een pitoresk dorpje aan een klein riviertje, is eenvoudig maar bruikbaar voor 5 of 6 personen. Er zijn echter wel een paar bijzonderheden om rekening mee te houden: - anders dan de website doet vermoeden is er geen privé-tuin bij het huis. Het terrein rond het huis bleek publiek terrein. Er liepen daarom regelmatig mensen door de tuin, onder andere om naar een ziek paard in een aangrenzend weiland te komen kijken. Ook liepen er vaak honden die in de "tuin" hun behoefte deden en parkeerden buurtbewoners hun auto er. - er waren - waarschijnlijk om deze reden - geen makkelijke tuinstoelen - in en rond het huis werden wij lastig gevallen door extreem veel vliegen. Horren ontbraken. Schoonmaken was niet goed mogelijk omdat de stifzuiger stuk was - Met de eigenaar was geen overleg mogelijk over deze punten

Muy recomendable

Hemos pasado allí 8 días y no hemos tenido ningún problema, la casa estaba en perfectas condiciones a llegar, en general sentimos que quizás faltó un poco de comunicación con los dueños por si había algún producto de limpieza en la casa que no vimos pero es una residencia acogedora ideal para largas estancias, además está bien ubicado para desplazarte por otros pueblos de la zona.

Very confortable in a charming village !

Nice proprierty with large rooms and all the modern confort needed for vacations. The garden is quiet and perfect to lye in the sun when it shows or eat outside. And the surroundings are absolutly great for those who like low mountain trekking. Paysages are breathtaking. And a brunch of Splendid beaches of Cantabria are only one hour away. The only minus is thé lack of noise isolation between floors, pbably due to thé fact it s an old house renewed. In total we had a very nice stay !

Estuvimos alojados 5 personas en el puente de mayo y a pesar del tiempo estuvimos muy a gusto. Asun fue muy atenta y estuvo disponible siempre que la necesitamos.

Good location and very pleasant

It was a comfortable, clean house in an ideal location, near the Picos de Europa National Park and situated in a pretty village. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Lots of stunning walks and outdoor activities to do nearby with good restaurants to choose from in nearby Potes.
