“We have family on Pender Island and over the years we have stayed at a number of lodgings. We were surprised to find that this was one of the most comfortable places we have ever stayed on the island. The bed was very comfortable, the shower excellent, and there is an incredible view. We recommend this lodging without reservation.”

“The hosts: the best I have ever encountered in guest houses. Hospitable, friendly, generous, kind ... can't use enough words to describe how wonderful they were as hosts.The house and setting: Magical. The house is on a bluff overlooking the Salish Sea. We had planned a sunset picnic but saw no reason to leave. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and there was plenty of room in the kitchen/dining/living room area for our group.The island: we kayaked, hiked, explored, and took a boat trip……

“We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. ”

“This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! ”
