“Great property was home from home with great character and hosts. Certainly would put at top of list of places to stay when we visit again”

“Kevin and the team are great, happy to help however they can. The food is very good as are the drinks. The en suite bathroom had a great shower, fluffy clean towels and was nicely laid out. The bed was clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and both agreed the only thing to change were some of the carpets. We didn't sleep, eat or shower on the carpets though, so it wasn't a game changer. We would definitely stay again, thank you Kevin and the whole team.”

“One of our favourite places we have stayed. Hotel was beautiful, location was fantastic and the views from the room were amazing! The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The staff were very attentive. We had breakfast on the outside terrace and that was delicious. We use to live in swansea so we knew parking on the road up by verdis is free so we parked there and walked down (parking by the hotel is pricey). Had the best stay! Highly recommend ”

“Impromptu stay at the property, in a 2 bed apartment which was nicely kitted out and nice decor. Breakfast was very nice and not too heavy, had a choice of continental and cooked breakfast. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a nice terrace area for drinks and lunch/dinner. Would recommend staying here. ”

“Convenient for train, bus and taxis. The staff were efficient, and helpful. The hotel was clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided but there was no resteraunt. Music provided for a function on the ground floor could be heard in the bedroom. ”

“The room was in a lodge at the rear of the house. It's was modern, stylishly decorated and well appointed. Good size bathroom had a problem with the drainage. The Monroe restaurant had a fixed two or three course menu (mushroom then salmon for me)and although the dishes were expertly presented as much as I wanted to like them I just didn't, I found them too bland for my taste. I hoped that breakfast would be better but the solid poached eggs & budget sausage just cemented my opinion. I would……
