“My wife and I recently planned a quick weekend getaway. We choose Pocono Mountain resort and spa for a couple of reasons. 1. Dog freindly. (They were very accommodating for traveling with our four legged member of our family.) Close to other things in area we have done in the past. “Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. “Given the Holiday Inn is located beside the Interstate, Road noise is a given. Lori at Registration was very welcoming and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom door tended to drag on the floor when opened. Overall a good experience and would stay here again if in the area.”
