'The Blue Heron' cottage is nestled in beautiful Perdido Key, Florida. You're less than 2 miles to the beautiful Johnson Beach National Seashore, as well as, multiple hiking trails and historic landmarks. Kayaking, picnicking, and swimming are all available at the Johnson's Beach National Seashore. If you'd like to explore the greater Pensacola area just adventure North from the neighborhood! Some activities in the area include Snorkeling on the emerald-water reefs (only 500ft from the shore!), Fishing on the nearby Charter Boats, exploring the dog beaches, watching the Blue Angels air show, and walking and biking sandy beach trails! Or, join the locals as you explore Palafox Market, Blue Wahoo's Stadium, and downtown Palafox. If you want some rest and relaxation, the beach is just minutes away to spend your day basking in the sun. To recharge, the endless dining options will be the only challenge you face as you decide which one to experience!
