Didnt have the greatest experience with fire alarm going off all night the second night, they came to fix. No real lighting in the room other then lamps, and bathroom lights only 2 of the 4 worked. Smaller then expected, dipped out to another hotel, cheaper and way nicer

Great staff and ideal location for those with a boat. Loved access to the marina in front. Needs maintenance or an upgrade on the rooms doors, our room door and all others on the floor were really sticky, hard to open and then loudly slam shut. Everyone could each other every time they open and close the doors.

We were on the second floor when we stayed at the hotel, we had a hard time sleeping because of the on and off noise and music coming from the bar downstairs where people are partying until wee hours of the morning, they turned it down but still it was still loud. We decided to stay in another hotel the next day. We ended up tired the next day and not able to do much for our vacation in Penticton.

Had a very bad first night - very noisy in the room next door Front Desk Supervisor - Kayla I believe, took great care of us and gave us a much quieter room - without hesitation

The property is right on the lake and we had a room with a beautiful view. The have a restaurant for breakfast, a pub and a fancier restaurant as well. There is lots of room for parking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is nice. It is dog friendly which is fine but there were a lot of dogs, seemed more like a dog hotel. We had a yappy dog on our floor which was somewhat annoying. We could also hear everyone in the hallway. Bed was comfy and it was nice having a balcony to sit on and enjoy the lake view. Bathroom was ok, some of the tiles on the floor needed repair. It's a short walk to the lake which is nice and the Farmer's Market is right across the street on Saturdays. Lots of places to eat in the area.

Loved having a balcony, the location was great, energy-filled property, friendly/helpful staff. For the price, rooms were a bit dated and needed a bit of TLC (nothing serious, but again for the price). The beds were uncomfortable, and we happened to arrive on a big event night so the music blared until around 1 or 2am - which made for a very sleepless first night. We are also disappointed that we booked a year in advance and got a second floor, rather than a higher floor, accommodation - I suppose that was on us thought for not requesting an upper floor room.

It was the worst experience I had with this hotel. They put me in the room on top of the club and music was blasting until 2am in the morning. Front desk staffs weren’t helpful and so confused with my booking, and manager Kayla didn’t even spend enough time to understand and resolve my booking. Will never stay at this hotel again

We've stayed at the Lakeside many times while visiting Penticton. This year we traveled with family and our rooms were adjoining, on a dog friendly floor. The rooms were very clean and we loved the balcony overlooking the lake. Beds were comfortable. There are lots of food options both in the hotel and walkable nearby. Vegan options include a bowl at the Hooded Merganser and also various restaurants nearby (try the Danish at Cobb's Bread). We like to get takeout coffee from the Bufflehead and enjoy it back in the room, on the balcony. The Lakeside always makes our visits special.
