“We feel so fortunate to have been able to stay at the 607 Guest House! From the second we walked through the door, I felt like I was at my Grandma's house once again! “This place was perfect for our family group of 7 adults and 3 children.Plenty of room to spread out. We could be upstairs and cook, eat and hang out or be chilling in the basement playing pool or watching a movie.Home and kitchen was well stocked and even included complimentary coffee! The two sets of washers and dryers for laundry in the basement is a great idea for larger groups!The owner was easy to contact and was very helpful. Apparently the previous guest may have lost or misplaced the key……

“The property was as described! We truly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space to gather and play cards both inside and outside.”

“Great golf week! Stayed with high school buddies and the rental was everything we expected and more.”

“Check in process was easy. Communication was really good. Better than most as he usually responded right away. Pool is clean and beautiful. Kitchen utensils were adequate. Surroundings give a pleasant summer camp feel. Lots to explore outside. Our grandaughters who are nine and five loved the trampoline, toy room and pool. We would go back again! ”

“Our stay was great- communication with the host was great- instructions /entry was all smooth. The kitchen was stocked with all the items that we needed. had a great playing area in the basement for kids. We will definitely be back. ”

It was a great size for our family and just the little touches like offering toiletries, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, and coffee were so helpful for our short stay. We only had one small issue and the owner was quick to fix and available by message with any questions. We will definitely look to stay at this place on our next visit to Des Moines. ”

“Very spacious and very clean house. Three levels allowed everyone space and quiet time. A/C worked well on all levels, important in high heat and humidity. Water pressure in showers on upper level was very low, although master bedroom shower was fine. Would suggest instruction sheet to operate TV controls. We have Direct TV at home, so these were very foreign to us. Housekeeping notes: oven needs a good cleaning, pretty dirty on arrival. Master bedroom closet has only one bulb working needs at……

“This house is five star, Beautiful inside and out!!! The lake behind the house is so beautiful and my grandson enjoyed the geese in the yard waking up in the mornings. We would definitely stay at this place again. Now on to the host. She was very attentive. She was an ABSOLUTE ROCK STAR!!! Abby thanks for EVERYTHING and making our stay seamless. ”
