“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over the July 4th weekend. We spent many hours on the front porch watching the sun rise, the boats pass by, birds soar, including bald eagles nesting nearby! The house is charming and very well equipped. We appreciated the binoculars to watch birds and fireworks. Betterton Beach is a short walk. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend! ”

“The stay at this home was EXCEPTIONAL! The view and location were spectacular, home was so fully stocked with everything (and then some) of what you may need. “Family coming in from the North, South, and West. Meeting together for a family event. This house was centrally located for everyone to go off and visit friends in MD, Newark, and Wilmington and then all attend a family event in PA. Easy check in and great communication with the host. ”

“The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring.”

“The river house has an absolutely amazing view! My kids were thrilled with the chance to fish off a very long dock and even get their feet in the water on a small beach below the house (when the tide was out). Overall, the house was perfect and just big enough for our large family of seven. Matt was very responsive to a few questions I had and was a wonderful host! ”
