I spent one night with my family (husband and two daughters) and had the loveliest time. The room: was in fact two connecting rooms with a full bathroom in the middle. I am French and was pleasantly surprised to find Authentic French elements rather than the usual fake stereotyped elements foreigners usually associate with France. It was very obvious a French person was directly involved with the creation and daily management if the hotel. It turns out the owner’s wife is French!
Anyway, the light hardwood floor, the updated French magazines, the clawtub with the tiled floor of the bathroom, the armoire and the posters all said “this is the real thing”. Our room even had a plastic goose lamp like I had when I was little. I named her Sidonie from a dhow I used to watch when I was little. The bed was very comfortable, the room spacious and quiet even though it gave on the main road. I loved the breakfast dowstairs with homemade crepes, nutella and fresh juice. I don’t drink coffee but it smelled delicious. There was a lot of French touch downstairs too, from the antiques to the live streamed Radio Bleue.
They also offer streamers and the owner mentioned that they will soon offer “breakfast in bed” options and a cute little restaurant next door. Everything was clean, tidy, well thought out and really Frenchy! I would go back for sure!
