“This was the perfect VRBO rental. The host Lena and Bob where there for us with any questions we had prior and during the trip. They made me feel so comfortable with understanding what to expect as well as greeting us with supplies that made me feel like I was walking into my own home. The only difference is that this home is so beautiful that my jaw just dropped at every turn. Once you walk through the front doors, your eyes are drawn to the beautiful views of the bay and crystal clear water.……

“The space worked for 7 of us. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were good. The view is amazing and deck was well appointed. Some things I would’ve liked to know ahead of time…the photos of the pool are a bit deceiving. The pool is very small, more like a big hot tub. The grill was propped up on a rock because the legs have rusted off and two of the burners didn’t work. There’s no ice maker so plan on buying lots of ice. The dishwasher didn’t work. They said the part was ordered. Overall……

“Had studio overlooking the bay. Beautiful room, comfortable bed. M/W didn't work and range difficult to use so maid brought hot plate. Did deal with a couple large cockroaches but guess that's common to the area. Front desk very helpful with info about the area and things to do. Restaurant had delicious food but no a/c, very slow service one night, other was fine. Cash only was a bit inconvenient but there is ATM on site. Resort is remote so you will pay extra in cab fare and some taxis……

“Great place to stay, but I'd recommend renting a car if staying at Bluebeard's. The hill is no joke, and nothing is as close a walk as it looks on Google maps. You can get pretty much anywhere on the island on 20 minutes, but be prepared from steep grades, hairpin turns, and skinny roads. Hotel itself has great views, and even offers a kitchenet (a pleasant surprise). Food at both bar/restaurants is very good, and the staff kicks ass. Convenience store clerk makes a mean bagel and will make you……
