“To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. All in all, a very pleasant experience!! Wish it had been the summer so……

“Everything connected to the host (Angela) and her property was amazing. Everything connected with VRBO was terrible. Our inbox at vrbo had a several day delay so we did not have the code to enter the cottage when we arrived. We were remote, standing in the rain, with no way to get in and no where close to go to. When we called vrbo they seemed to pretend to not hear us and hung up on the first call. I said my name loudly and clearly several times and kept getting the reply “you’re breaking……

“My family and I loved our stay. The cottage is cute with a beautiful view of the sea from the deck. I walked to the beach several times each day and enjoyed the amazing scenery. Nearby Chéticamp is quaint and has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The Cape Breton Highlands National Park offers breathtaking views from your car and even more to explore and see on its hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.”

“This property came to me by default. It was the sweetest most private and comfortable unit in my 2 week travel. Everything I ever wanted or needed was included in the most delightful way. “My husband, baby, and I, along with another couple and their baby, stayed at this cottage during our trip to Cape Breton. The cottage was more spacious than we expected and fit us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was great. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach! Great sand and swimming, and the location made it perfect for running back and forth with kids. This place is a drive away from any amenities, which we knew, but something to take into consideration.”

Facilities were clean and comfortable, however, going up the stairs to the room was difficult for my sister due to her bad knees, bed was a little small for my wife and I but was comfortable. “We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment! ”
