ABOUT THE RENTAL
This well placed Mountain Cabin sits directly across from jumping on the slopes and catching the Alpine Lift. If you’re looking to get away to ski, golf, mountain bike, or just relax indoors, then this is the place for you. (*fireplace is not for use per association rules) Its location, layout, and amenities are designed to please. It offers four bedrooms and three baths along with a private hot tub on the back deck where you can catch a glimpse of Deer Lake in the right season! Although it is part of the Mountain Cabin development at Boyne this particular cabin sits down in a grove in the woods which offers more privacy and parking.

*Please note that the chairlift this property uses for ski-in/ski-out access has a schedule that is subject to change and we recommend visiting the Boyne Mountain website for current lift schedules during your stay.
*All wheel or 4-wheel drive is recommended to access this rental property during the winter season.

Boyne offers renters an abundance of things to do all year round. Some activities are free to the public and others you will need to pay Boyne directly for their services. In the warmer months you can enjoy bonfires at the main lodge, yard games, and join the many community activities that take place. Zip lining, horseback riding, mountain biking/hiking, and golf are just a few of the things you can do while you're here. Also, Boyne offers chairlift rides for a small fee throughout the summer and fall months for your viewing pleasures. When the snow flies, jump on the mountain for some of the best skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing in the Midwest. Boyne Mountain Resort features an indoor water park that is fun for all ages! The village at the base of the mountain offers numerous restaurants, bars, and shops. Some of the dining options include Everett's, the Forty Acres Tavern, the Trophy Room Pub and Pizzeria, and Stein Eriksen's. Take a break from it all at The Spa at Boyne Mountain, which boasts 18 treatment rooms, lounges, saunas, steam rooms, a workout facility, and more. Whatever the season may be, Boyne has you covered with things to do during your stay.

Ski trip with teenagers and friends

Good location and accommodations. Driveway is relatively steep and tricky with 4 inches of snow. Host contacted snow removal company when I asked and they plowed the driveway the next day. Hot tub was snowed in. I had to shovel around the hot tub for about 10 minutes to get the back clear for the cover to open. Minor things and overall a great stay.

4-Day Ski Trip

Perfect set up for our two family with five children total. Two bedrooms for each couple to stay in and then two bedrooms for the boys in one bedroom and the girls in another. Both kid bedrooms were in the basement, it was the kids area! Hot tub was very relaxing after a day of skiing. To help better understand the ski in/ ski out access, I'll try my best. When you leave the front door of the cabin you turn left and walk approximately 50 steps up a fairly steep driveway. Then you cross the road and have a short trail, approximately 50 yards long going down hill that is not groomed. You can ski down this trail that is about 10 yards wide. Then you reach a run that is groomed and the lift is just a short distance down the groomed run, maybe 100 yards or so. I hope this helps, but we will be back next year for sure! Great communication via text messaging with the management company.

Great property and easy operation, no hassles.

The cabin is on a great hillside lot and the building itself is well-maintained with a great floor plan to accommodate everyone eating and hanging-out together or splitting up. The kids loved having the walk-out basement to play and the bedrooms are isolated enough where the early sleepers were never bothered by the up-late people. The hot tub was nice and big too; it came in handy to loosen-up this old snowboarder's soreness after trying to keep up with my kids. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need to cook for everybody. I would say that this rental over-delivers it's online profile; highly recommended.

Honeymoon

After months of wedding planning and packing, my husband and I wanted a week to relax and recover. I told him my requests were a hot tub, a fireplace, a king size bed, and some scenery. This chalet more than met my requests. Obviously this is a great place for ski season, but it’s also great for a quiet getaway during the off-season. The fall colors were unlike any we’ve seen before. I highly recommend, and we hope to return!

Great Vacation

This was our sixth time visiting Boyne and our sixth property to stay at. The property certainly did not disappoint. There was lots of room for our group. The property was clean and spacious. It is at the end of a side road by itself so very private. The cabin itself is rustic yet inviting. It is set back in the woods with nice views from the back deck.

Excellent location, quiet, plenty to do. Only issues were a shortage of towels and toilet paper. Also had a problem with the clothes dryer. It was a unfamiliar type (invented recirculating) and finally found the operating instructions on the floor beside the machine.

Outstanding experience

We all enjoyed the cabin so much! Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub nice bonus. Many family members skied while others enjoyed going to the ski village, playing cards and going in the hot tub. We would love to come in the summer as well as would definitely choose this cabin!

We had a great time celebrating my husband's 40th birthday. The cabin was perfect for our close friends/family. There was enough room for all of us. It was a peaceful spot to come back to and regroup before heading out to our next adventure. Clean, just enough space, all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus!

Private Mountain Cabin

Our family of 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 10-17) stayed 3 nights to enjoy golf, Boyne Mountain, and Lake Charlevoix. The cabin’s location is great for those wanting to use Boyne’s amenities. It’s also private compared to the other Mountain Cabin units because it’s tucked into a little wooded lot. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We enjoyed the back deck with hot tub for 6. Check-in and communicating with the rental company was very easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Great cabin!

We loved this place. It was the perfect size for 2, 4-person families. The basement area allowed all the kids to have their own space. There were plenty of kitchen amenities. The property was very clean. The only inconvenience we had was the air conditioning not working properly. But 1 call to the management company resulted in a heating/cooling service call to our place and the issue was fixed within an hour of the person’s arrival. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the cabin.

Awesome cabin in the woods!

I stayed here with my wife, parents, my friends, and their 2 yo and there was plenty of room to spread out and have out own spaces when needed. The place was clean and very close to our friends wedding venue. Everything was great, would love to go back in the winter for some skiing.

Wonderful cabin

Brilliant cabin with all the necessities just minutes away from Boyne City and Petosky. Great location at Boyne Mountain yet private enough, with a wonderful view off the back deck, to feel like a real retreat. The hot tub and Beekman products were extra bonuses! Will definitely return!!
