“A great choice in Vang Vieng. The shipping container rooms are novel, comfortable, clean and cool. (I think Mr Kong is a bit of a genius.) Good AC, comfortable beds, nice showers, OK breakfast (but you'll need to grab a decent coffee nearby at Kiwi, or a 10 minute walk to wonderful Naked).
The location is great. Across the river from the noisier main drag but there's a walking bridge next to the hotel. It's quiet at night. There are 3 very good restaurants nearby- the pizza place, Kiwi……
“The reception was extremely helpful and friendly. I stayed there only for two days and they helped with booking the activity and transportation with reasonable price.View from the room is stunning.”
“Nice hotel with many great features
Rooftop terrace with sweeping views
Modern Building, rooms, and fixtures.
Well furnished.
Comfortable beds.
Balconies.
Efficient AC.
Pool.
Scooter parking.
Elevator.
Attentive front desk, with access to many tours, and transports.
The only issue i had during my stay was the laundry for hotel linens as well as guest clothing is consistently musty, perhaps a problem with a machine.

“Clean rooms, friendly staff. Good and tasty breakfast. I like especially the fact that you can grab stuff like toilet paper and coffee / tea on your own.”
“The location is slightly inconvenient as it is on the opposite side of the river from the main town area. But the hotel is great with clean facilities. The breakfast is served at the restaurant with an impressive paddy field view, and the breakfast is traditional Lao food that is very delicious compared to many we have tasted in other restaurants.”
“I enjoyed my stayed here, no elevators. Quiet and near a lot of eatery and shopping local goods. This is a good spot for tourists and there is so much to do and plenty of street vendors and street food. There is a lot of traffic too but I walked around a lot in this area. I feel safe and the air conditioner works great. Breakfast is made to order for you and they have a menu for you. I only wished I stayed here a bit longer ”
“Got to the hostel and it was total chaos. They showed us 5 rooms before actually finding the one we had booked. Some of the rooms was already ocupied by others, so that made us feel our stuff was unsafem when we got our room, the toilet did not work and there were ants in the bed. We got upgraded after a bit of arguing and the new room was Ok, at best. Stains on the sheets etc. Makes for a not to cosy stay... the shower is completly usless. If your only aim is a bed to sleep in and you do not……
“The staff is very friendly but management is occasionally unavailable to assist. When we arrived our reservation couldn't be located by the inexperienced front desk clerks. But we did get resolution with the manager who was accommodating. Our room was missing the AC controller so we had to tolerate a warm room for the first night.
Being in Laos though, service is not up to western standards.
The property must be accessed on very bumpy roads but taxis are readily available. The location is quite……
