I had reserved a suite for two nights for four adults and one child. We had two towels only in the room. Kept asking for towels - had a very hard time getting them. Finally got 4! The TV in the main area did not work. The shower did not work well. There was not enough soap or shampoo. We didn’t have enough blankets. They didn’t have staff to help-had to go down and get blanket.

Im sure, in its day, this was a fine hotel. Pictures online is not the same in person. At this price point I expect a clean and modern facilities. Whole place needs new floors, carpet, paint, tiles, and a real deep cleaning. The restaurant staff seemed rude and the food was cold. When i told them someone forgot to turn on the warmers on the buffet. I got a rude responce. $20 breakfast for box scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage that were right out the freezer. Very bad. I had to pay for 3 ppl at $20 each and we all left and got something else to eat. We were there for an event and reserved 5 rooms. Everyone except the people in the double Penthouse room suite with a balcony were satisfied with their room.

This property is run down. It is in need of desperate repairs, to plumbing, electrical, finishes and hardware (broken faucet in bath), elevators. Ice machines are missing, horribly dirty carpets and a very pungent musty smell in the rooms. Even food options in the pantry were expired. Front desk staff was less than adequate.

The property is on the decline. The positives: It’s in a decent location and is accessible to a major highway. It sits across from a mall and several chain restaurants are nearby. The negatives: The property is rundown and unclean. The air conditioning units are noisy and pre-set. Achieving a consistent, comfortable temperature in your room is difficult. I was in a King suite and it was rundown, noisy, and slightly uncomfortable. The bath towels and tp are of low quality. The interior is atrium style and each floor overlooks a bar/lounge area that gets very loud during the evenings and sound carries due to the layout. The bar serves a limited, overpriced and there is no room service. The front desk staff was disinterested at check-in. No greeting, no explanation of where elevators are located, breakfast hours, where elevators are located (it’s a large property), not even an “enjoy your stay”. I am a Hilton Rewards member and I have stayed in many Doubletrees. I recognize customer service in the hospitality industry has taken a sharp hit following COVID, but this was very disappointing. Truthfully, I would be more than willing to pay considerably more for better quality and better service.
