It's inexpensive compared with other nearby hotels but in retrospect not worth it. The shuttle wasn't air-conditioned and let's just say I exchanged a look with another passenger I had never met before that involved raised eyebrows as another driver honked at us. There is a smell of cleaning detergents in the lobby. There was a musty smell in the room and the floor was sticky as if someone had spilled soda on the floor. I might have asked to change rooms but I decided there was very little chance another room would be an improvement and it would be too inconvenient to switch hotels. The shower was great and the room AC worked great. Electrical outlets were so worn that plugs would just fall out, but I eventually found a working one below the bedside table. The TV was new-ish but the remote didn't work. As an illustration of sensibilities of whoever is running this place, the TV was hung conspicuously off center. Other than that, pictures of this place, if you make sure not to capture the popcorn ceiling, makes it look much better than in person. The breakfast, well, just picture what you might find at a gas station in West Virginia. Also, what's the difference between what you get if you press "coffee" vs. "normal coffee" on the machine? I wasn't brave enough to try both. No, I would not recommend this hotel even to my most frugal friend, and I made sure to run all clothes through the dryer when I got home. If we were ever going to pick up bed bugs, this would be that time.
