The house was very nice, It could use additional seating in the living room and dressers in the non-primary bedrooms, but it was wonderful. The fenced yard in backyard was Nice for our dog. “Girls trip...3 elder sisters plus second generation niece and her 2 daughters. We all agreed everything was perfect at this location. From bedroom choices to outside porches to full kitchen amenities everything we needed was at our fingertips. Location couldn't have been better. View of the St Lawrence, glimpses of ships traveling in the distance, perfect weather and wonderful flat hiking right in the neighborhood. The area was charming and steeped in early history of the thousand Islands……

“We had a wonderful stay. This was the second time we stayed at this property. We were supper pumped a bigger bed was put in the back bedroom. We will stay here again. ”

“We brought our teens to go white water rafting for the weekend. The house was super close to the rafting place and it was comfortable. The bathroom layout is a bit odd because you have to walk through the bathrooms to get to the bedrooms, but we made it work. The kitchen was a bit light on pots and pans but otherwise great. The appliances were a bit confusing but they did give us directions. There is no traditional oven but a microwave convection oven. We had planned on making pizza and bacon……

“8 adults stayed here we had plenty of space and really enjoyed the house. The town of Alexandria was very cute, most things were closing for the season but we did still get to experience the boat tour, do some shopping and eat at a few local places. We also traveled to the next town over for the pumpkin chunkin festival which was a lot of fun. Thanks to Bob for recommending this! ”

“My family traveled to Alexandria Bay for a wedding on one of the islands and we loved our base at this house. It was in an amazing location, walkable to the main street where the shops, restaurant, bars and churches were located. The hostess was very professional and attentive. We had very good interaction.The house is lovely, we enjoyed having coffee on the front port in the morning. I would stay there again when another chance comes up to visit the area.”

“This property was awesome! Stayed with some co-workers for a fishing charter trip. House was clean and fit 5 people comfortably. Met the people at the rental house next door and made new friends. Property has a bunch of firepits with awesome view of the sunset over Boldt Castle. The owners were great to communicate with and very accommodating. We are hoping to have the entire office stay at the Ledges for next year's fishing trip.”
