Danny’s Villa offered us the perfect home base in Orient Bay for all of our guests. The property is exactly as described in the photos and description. “This house has an excellent location on a great beach! We spent more time at this beach than any other because it was easy to walk to the house when you needed something. The beach was not crowded, calm, and beautiful. The water is very clear and the area in front of the house is very sandy and good for swimming. “From start to finish Serge and Danielle were wonderful hosts. The villa was awesome! Our grandchild (5 yo) and all of us loved the pool and the view. The house , especially the kitchen was very well appointed. The Anse Marcel beach was a very short distance and perfect! Of course Orient Beach was too. “There was 7 of us. Grandparents in their 60s, two adult children with their wives and one granddaughter 7 months old. The unit was extremely clean, and spacious. Each couple had their own bathroom. All three bedrooms and bathrooms were good size especially the master which had a wall of sliding glass looking out over the pool and beach. Spectacular!! Being in the villa was perfect especially when the baby took her naps. We brought the baby monitor outside by the pool to listen and watch her……

The house as very clean and well maintained. Amazing shower water pressure! And the small pay it forward basket was nice! If you happen to forget something, check the basket, if you use something, just put one back by the end of your trip for the next vacationers!! The ocean was just steps away, and the island offers……

“The property manager was wonderful with communicating and allowed us to drop off our luggage early. We had a few maintenance issues with the house but the manager responded quickly to each of these. The home is beautifully appointed and has an amazing view. It’s walkable to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Overall an excellent vacation house. ”

“Communication was efficient with our pleasant manager Johann. Any minor issues were dealt with quickly. The Villa is as advertised. We were three adult couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had Thomas, from fabulous feasts, cater a gourmet dinner one night which was a highlight of the week. If you’re three couples, two of the three bedrooms are quite small but adequate. Short walk to restaurants in the village and of course the beach. Our fav eateries were L’Astrolabe……

The view was just amazing and the pool was great and private - it was hard to leave! Check-in was easy with Romez meeting us with keys and instructions. “Do NOT believe the listing. The person listing this 5 bedroom beachfront villa stole photos from another owner and owns a one week time share at a 3 Bedroom villa NOT on the water. He accepted my online booking for dates he did not even own and then told me for a “deal” I could rent it for another week (which he had no access to nor does he own the next week as a time share) and I would be all set. Flights were booked and 7 of us arrived to not a beach front villa and he charged me for 6 Nights……

Ginny (the owner) was so helpful and made sure that everything went smoothly, gave us so many ideas and things to do. She really went out of her way to make this wonderful. In addition, Ursula (Villa staff) was an absolute gem. She helped us navigate all the amenities, as well as show us trails and give so much support. She also prepared a huge birthday dinner that rivaled any restaurant......all I can say……

“Villa Matira was exceptional in every way. The location was great. Just across from Pinel Island which was a quick ferry ride or quick to kayak with the use of 3 provided with the villa. We thought that it was very well equipped with kitchen and laundry which was useful for the stay. Location was safe, clean and gorgeous views. Maly was great!
