“Riverwatch is a wonderful home near the Maine Botanical Gardens. We stay in Boothbay often and this is one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. It was immaculate and had all the amenities you could ask for. We enjoyed cooking our Thanksgiving dinner in the beautiful kitchen. The management crew even left us a Thanksgiving dinner setup. We bring our own, but the thoughtfulness was much appreciated. The property has many beautiful views and is close to the Harbor. The owners should taken……

“The amenities on Travelocity site does not match the amenities Vacasa sends to you after you book. No washer, no (working?) central heating (1 electric oil heater on wheels provided). Safety lists deadbolt lock but only 2 of 5 doors have a deadbolt, 2 doors have no locks or latches. Several windows also don't have locks. We didn't have anyone in our party willing to try the shower but the stains downstairs hinted it might leak. The house is acrossed the street from the water, not on the……

“We checked in no problem. We discovered shortly after 4 pm we had no water. I got in touch with Vacasa to inform them that we had no water. They said they would contact the local team and they would be in touch with us. This went on all through the evening with the same response except they always asked if there was anything else they could help us with.. At 10 pm we turned in with no water the last message from them was the local team would contact us in the am. We heard nothing from the local……

“We had fabulous 4 days in Boothbay , visiting beautiful Penaquid , Southport Island, boat cruise, morning coffee near the water, and delicious food at Waves. Fun to look in different shops too. Bed was comfortable, nice readinbathroom was clean but right in bedroom with curtain but no door. That was a negative. Driveway was very steep for climbing and awkward parking space for unloading which was a challenge for 70 yr olds. Good kitchen area and sunny living room. Rivate and semi detached. ”

“The cabin was super cute, very close to the water, perfect for 2 for a weekend getaway. Close to Brunswick and some great seafood restaurants on the islands”

“As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. ”

“Lovely place for a couple and a child. Master bedroom was lovely. Water would not allow bathing but shower was ok in hall bath. The downstairs sleeping for two adults was a little difficult. Would have been nice to know upfront that the water was not potable. Nice touches with the set dining table and toiletries. View is amazing.”
