When I arrived before 3 PM, I went to the hotel to check in. They said I could not check in until 3PM, I discovered there was no elevator and I asked for a 1st floor room due to recent hip surgery and they said they would save me a 1st floor room when I came back to check in at 3 PM. When I came to check in, they said the 'other' person forgot to save me a 1st floor room. I was offered nothing in return for that inconvenience, like one night stay off my bill or switch me to the 1st floor the following day. I had to enter the 2nd floor from the back of the building and climb the stairs that were outside. There was no way to get to my room from inside the building. That is unsafe. One of the floor lamps was not plugged in and I had to figure out where I could plug it in. The refrigerator was not turned on and I had to figure out how to turn it on, after trusting it was on and putting my food items in it, only to discover they were warm later on. The landline phone did not work and I reported it and it was not fixed during my 3 day stay. Poor customer service. I would NOT stay here again! Since I booked with Expedia and the room was paid for for 3 days and nonrefundable, I couldn't refuse to stay there and leave and find a suitable hotel.
