If you are looking for a property that lives up to the traditional Doubletree high standard of clean, refreshing rooms where you are able to get away and relax, even if your trip is packed with picking your student up from college, this property IS NOT IT! I was disappointed upon arrival to be placed in a room in the back of the property, that was not the room I paid for, only to open the door to the rankest mildew and musty smell. The water in the bottles had evaporated, indicating it had not been changed in some time. The doors of the furniture was hanging open and unable to close properly. The refrigeration was rusted and filthy, along baseboard paneling being broken off in many areas. The area around the tub in the bathroom left MUCH to be desired. While the guest services representative indicated the property was scheduled to undergo renovations this summer, that room should not have been accessible to guests! I was moved to another room, still not what I reserved and at the back of the property, but the issue was not able to be resolved until other guests checked out. Extremely frustrating after traveling.

I’m my experience of traveling most Double Tree & Hyatt hotels are off in a remote area & some locations have guard rail for guest only parking. This location is in the middle of the neighborhood where non stay guests pull in th parking lot break in ur car or jus walk up to ur room door. Meaning it’s wide open. I didn’t feel safe at all..

Checked in and found a picture had fallen off the wall. Tried to call the front desk, but the phone in the room didn't work. Called with my cell phone, and they said all the right things about sending someone. Just nobody showed. The next day I went by the front desk and reported it again. Stayed 2 nights, but never got either fixed. But on the good side there was hot water, a good shower head and the AC worked well. This is an aging budget hotel that is clean and seemed secure. Overall positive value for the money.

I was there for two nights and had an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was easy, and the room was clean and well appointed for my stay. I had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was tasty. I liked having easy parking since I was in/out of the room during my stay.

Later, she got a call saying the second room was ready. Since she had already shown her ID and card just 20 minutes earlier, she asked if my brother could bring them down to finish the check-in for the second room on her behalf. The staff refused, even though they had just seen her ID and had confirmed her identity during the first check-in. Instead, they made her walk all the way back down to the front desk, which caused her to become short of breath and left her in pain. There was no attempt to accommodate her disability or offer a more thoughtful solution, despite the clear and simple alternative she suggested. To make matters worse, I asked for a manager to contact me about the issue and still haven’t heard back. It was a frustrating experience that showed a lack of compassion and awareness around accessibility needs. I expected better.
