This hotel is a great concept but its decor is now very dated and doesn’t feel clean- despite what I think is the best efforts of the housekeeping team. It had just begun a major, and much needed, renovation project when I arrived so no kitchens/restaurants or pool facilities were open. Plus the sound of construction filled the air. I will not be returning again until after the work is complete.

The grounds and decor are a little dated and worn, but the 2 story casitas were comfortable and roomy. Big renovations are underway, but we were disappointed that the main pool was closed during our visit. Be advised that the casitas around the 2nd biggest pool are very noisy with the pool parties. Despite these few drawbacks, we had a good stay and the price was reasonable.

No one tells you that the property is under reconstruction. Our room was full of dust and very old. Everything that they boast about the resort was all shut down and need a repair. Terrible experience.!

The one bedroom condo was great. A little dated in carpeting etc. Beds comfy and nice bathroom . Two pools and the restaurant and bar were closed and not disclosed at time of booking. Zero housekeeping services for three days. Called front desk, and they said that that was “odd”. The resort is in a good location with access to other restaurants and shopping, groceries etc.

Ok where do I start, I had booked this hotel because of all the amenities that came with it plus the location and accessibility to the activities I wanted to do, I had a VERY hard time finding the hotel and lobby, once I finally found it I was handed a letter pretty much saying half the hotel is being torn down and everything has been moved around, and some of the pools were out of service. Information that’s important to know a head of time. The rooms a kinda hard to find and once I got into the hotel, it was clean but when I checked the bed there was no bottom sheet which was kinda weird but overall, tho this is a nice area I don’t think it was worth the price staying and charging resort fees.

The night we arrived and checked in we were informed that the next day basically all the resort's amenities would be closed for renovations. No restaurants, no bars, no spa, no tennis, no pickleball, no gym, no salon, and all but two of the pools would be closed and off limits starting on our first day. Never were we given any advance notice of this - even when I called the day before to confirm my reservation and ask if there was anything going on at the hotel that week - I was not told any of this. To take people's bookings when the majority of the resort was being boarded up and fenced off - is just dishonest.

Under renovation- so travelled beware , particularly if you are not driving . Close encounters where / I spoke with front desk day before who assured me “ you will be able to get transport from where you are staying to front desk “ . Well that changed when at 3 am “ front desk said - well they do not know night shift “ . I had security to drive me up but the lady on the phone made me feel I got lucky “ - so beware … The bellman/ woman great - but front desk - not to sure .

No notice of construction, remodeling going on during our stay. Nothing on their website, nothing on Expedia. The main pool/hot tub area was closed due to construction plus all restaurants and bar at the main pool. So much for the VIP reward of all food and beverages 25% off. 100% off would still be a bad deal when everything is closed. 1/2 of the entire property was fenced off and this is where all the stuff is! They did give us a room upgrade but the main pool is bigger, has a hot tub, bar, music, and tons of room with a lot better vibe and people around. This was a HUGE let down in our stay. So much for a nice anniversary….

Staff makes this place what it is - but the price is not worth what it offers which really is a pool. Breakfast was good but again the staff made it amazing. Thank you house keeping and Bob, you are all stellar. Lots of nearby restaurants. My room’s bathroom smelled like burnt hair.
