We had a good overall experience during our stay at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai. The resort is beautiful, the staff were generally friendly, and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. Most of our stay went smoothly, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the facilities.
However, our last day was disappointing and left us with a negative final impression. The air conditioning in our room stopped working and was only repaired 12 hours after, which made it very uncomfortable. On top of that, the power kept going out throughout the day, and there was no Wi-Fi connection available at all. These issues made it difficult to rest or even plan our departure properly.
What was more frustrating is that when we brought up these problems and asked about any form of compensation or acknowledgment, we received no response at all. There was no follow-up, no explanation, and no effort made to address our concerns.
While we appreciated most of our time at the resort, the lack of support and communication when things went wrong was disappointing. It is unfortunate that the stay ended on that note.
