“We spent 2 nights at the resort, and it truly felt like “home away from home”. All staff are wonderful and had been super helpful. We felt warm and welcomed throughout our stay. “The hotel clearly needs improvement- the bathroom is not a bathroom. The shower is old and impossible to manage, the door doesnt close and the TV doesnt work. When you are on vacation what you want is something that eases your experience. We left the hotel the next day and didnt ask for a refund. We booked 4 nights. Other than that the owners and the staff were very kind. ”

“The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. ”

“The B Resort is a real good alternative to staying on the other downtown side of the river. Situated right on the river bank the location is good for Kampot. The staff is polite and friendly and the buildings are actually quite beautiful - like in an oldschool kind of resort way. Our room was also ok, with a terrace overlooking the Kampot River. “Room initially given to us hadn’t been cleaned. Corrected the mistake quickly. Rooms are huge, clean. Gym was just on the first floor area and no aircon so limited how long you could exercise. Breakfast was ok but fairly limited unless you’re ok with noodles and fried rice for breakfast. Location was quiet and walkable to restaurants.”

“This hotel had all the basic stuff you needed, and was clean, but something was just off about it. I am not sure about the atmosphere and perhaps because my sliding door wouldn't close all the way and I needed a staff to close it EVERY TIME but it was just OK. There was a big family party on the second night we stayed so we did have to listen to people howling (singing)until quite late. It was a but secluded and hard to get to at night time with all the surrounding ditches. ”
