“This is my second year to stay at Comfort Cove for the annual "Gimme Shelter" (GS) kayak fishing tournament and community event. I came back because my experience last year was so positive. Last year I was here solo, this year my wife came along. It's close to the activities near the campground meeting pavilion and boat launch. My wife says she loves that king size bed. The view is great. We discovered a new nearby restaurant, the Surf Point Coffee Shop & Bistro for breakfasts and lunch and……

“Came to relax and unwind from a 4 month case of cabin fever following foot surgery.This is my third stay at Sweet Cove. I'll be returning again in August with my two sons. I am still recovering from foot surgery and currently have limited mobility. I'm using a knee scooter and this Cottage was so easy for me to get around. All one level except for one step down to the deck which I was able to easily manage.As usual, the kitchen is well appointed and the cottage is very clean. Since I was not……

“The house was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had every appliance known to man, and the views were spectacular. We would definitely come back! Notes for Shelter Cove: visit the Black Sand Beach and the tide pools below the lighthouse. Monitor the tides for the best times to go. Surf Point Coffeehouse has fantastic breakfast and lunch. Gyppo Ale Mill was our choice for two dinners and has a great cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, French fries, and limeade.”
