“This was the first time for us to come back to Pierre in many years, having grown up here and now living in Texas. It was delightful to find out that we were staying in a house that belongs to someone who knew our father from "back in the day." He even dropped in for a little visit! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week - washer/dryer, full kitchen (we cooked breakfast every day and supper at least twice). “This house was perfect for our family. We brought our kids and dogs for a hunting trip. The garage was convenient to leave the dog trailer in. We loved the yard (our dogs did too) and that we could walk to the Outpost Lodge for lunch and to the lake. There’s also some really nice walking trails close by overlooking the lake.. so beautiful. The fire pit was also great and our kids made s’mores multiple times. The house had everything you needed so you didn’t have to run to the grocery store your……

I would suggest a binder with WIFI info, special things about the home, what to do with the bedding (leave it as is or strip the beds), whether you are to wash your dishes and put away or leave, local attractions, stores, etc. ”

“This property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were even able to cook up a Thanksgiving dinner. It was centrally located close to bird hunting (the grasslands), shopping, and eating. There were several good restaurants nearby to enjoy. It served well as a home away from home. We appreciated having a pet-friendly rental with a washer and dryer. Both are not easy to find. We loved the area. The host was very attentive and easy to work with throughout our stay.”
