I don't know where to begin. As Expedia clients, we felt treated like second class citizens. $100 deposit seemed excessive. My husband was grumpy from the drive and refused to pay that amount. He finally paid it and all was well.
We met our adult son at the hotel for a nice family weekend. We liked the idea of this hotel since dogs were allowed and the pet fee was reasonable.
My son went down to pay the pet fee, but instead they charged him the pet fee plus another incidental fee claiming we never paid . We showed them the receipt. They took the charge off my son's debit card, but of course it took days to fall off and he barely had enough gas to make it home.
We had decided to check in a day early. I requested an accessible room, which i guess were sold out. Nothing was mentioned. Later we asked if the accessible room was still reserved for the next day. which it was. However, if we moved, another incidental and pet fee would be charged.
As for the hotel- clean. Pool- meh. We wish we were closer to all the shopping, but we didnt know Pigeon Forge.
The thing that upset us the most was everything was our fault and they accepted no responsibility.
