“It was the cabin in the woods, peaceful. The roads are gravel but Arkansas private roads are mostly gravel. Was clean and kitchen was stocked and ready for use with the appliances cookware and utensils. Not far from town and sites. Highly recommend if you don't want a regular hotel. Oh, the Jacuzzi was fabulous.”

But the walk back up from the lake was hard on us. My husband has copd and i had hip surgery not long ago. Just wish there was a better way up and down. But we give it all in all. A 99 out of 100. “We really enjoyed staying at Lost Rock! The children loved the pool, and the view is incredible! You can watch the fog rising and swirling on the lake from the deck(s) - absolutely beautiful! We were looking for a place to get away and not have to do a lot of other activities and this was perfect. The road (last 15 minutes) is a little rugged (as mentioned by others), but our suburban was fine, as well as my parents Toyota RAV4. I would suggest bringing food you can make or reheat, as well as……

“The stay was amazing. The accommodations were great. It was clean. The beds were large and very comfortable. The views were fantastic and peaceful, a great place to reboot after a long stents. Bring plenty of food to cook and charcoal barbecue as there’s no need to leave the property we swam we fished. We played pool poker and told stories a better times. Ray was great and accommodating and very communicative. I highly recommend this place.”
