“Saw the photos and thought it seemed like a nice little overnight stay for a day trip to Sequoia National Park, after our evening at the Fresno PBR event. We decided to go to the cabin prior to the event. The drive to Fresno was a little long. So was not ideal for that leg of our trip. The cabin itself was great; rustic and comfy. “We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate……

“Super clean and excellent communication ”

“Pros: beautiful attention to all details for the weary traveler. Super clean! Comfortable beds/bedding/extra blankets, towels, pillows everywhere! Awesome to get in the hot tub after a day in the Sequoias. So close to the park entrance! Pool inviting (though a little too cold to swim). All essentials and more in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus games, pool towels, stuff for b-bque (though we didn't use). Beautiful fixtures/lighting for all moods.Cons: actually none, I would return here again!”

“We had a short 2 night stay, but the place was perfect for us. Very clean and nice amenities. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also short drive to the park entrance. The owners were quick to help and answer any questions we had.”

“There is NO place more convenient than this little cabin for a stay near King's Canyon or Sequoia National Park. It's quite literally in the park and while the cabin is over 100 years old, it's been wonderfully renovated to allow for modern conveniences while still retaining it's rustic charm. “Pros: The cabin was cozy, spacious, and clean, with a large living room. It had one room with two queen beds and another room with two single beds, which was great for our group. The kitchen and dining area were also clean and well-equipped. Cons: There’s no on-site laundry, but there are a few options nearby. The good review & clean laundromat is the Lakeside Market and laundry, about a 30-minute drive away.”
