“Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!”

“Loved the tiny cabin. Was clean and comfortable (the AC was a blessing). The only drawback was that we couldn't have a fire due to no firestarter in the cabin. Also, the phone number listed in the guest book for the host, is not correct so we had ZERO communication with the host. ”

“The property was well maintained and easy to use for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed pots/pans/dishes/utensils. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The listing wasn’t completely clear that the property was a part of a larger condo building with other guests staying right next door and there were a lot of flies and beetles on the floors and walls. ”

“We had a wonderful extended stay at this property with our group. Fishing was fantastic, the level lot was great for going out on the ice. Winter campfire was perfect to sit by and take in the lake views. Nice kitchen for cooking and prepping in. Christmas tree was a perfect touch. We will be back. ”

“Our trip to Julian’s Cabin was amazing. We stayed on the Thieves’ Den. The beach was perfect for my kids with a very shallow entry. We took the canoes out for a bit as well. My children turned into fish during the week when we weren’t exploring the surrounding trails. Judy is an excellent host. The cabin is complete with everything you possibly could need and Judy is just one cabin over if you ever have a problem or question. While the cabin itself is small, there is plenty of outdoor space……

“According to the listing, this property can sleep up to 10 people, but it should be revised a little. There are actual beds for 6 people, the rest would need to sleep in the loft, couch recliners, mattresses on the floor, or on a futon. The loft is too small for adults to be able to climb up/down the steps in order to sleep up there. Everything else on the property was great and Greg was really easy to work with. I would recommend this place to others.”
