“Me and my fishing buddies stayed at Widgeon Grove February 17-21 2025 and we were very impressed by this lodge. Honestly the pictures don’t do this place justice. We’ve been doing this spring trip for years and this trip was amazing. The fishing wasn’t great but the lodge was awesome. Caroline and her staff are great and answered all my questions quickly. “This stay checked the two most important boxes for a hotel stay--comfotable accomodations and pleasant staff. We checked in about 1/2 an hour early and the front desk staff and housekeeping worked to make it possible and were extremely personable and pleasant. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've experienced and obviously freshly cleaned. “The house was exactly as described. It was just a 15 minute drive to downtown and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was clean and had everything you need. The backyard was fenced and perfect for our dog. The owners were extremely easy to communicate with and gave great detailed instructions. Highly recommend if you want quiet and dog friendly.
