The owner made the stay even better by being friendly, but not constantly 'checking on us'. There was the added bonus of the owner's dog wanting to sit with us while we sipped Tuscan wine in the shade in the afternoon. “We had a lovely couple of weeks at Jacopo’s house. The house has been beautifully restored and set in an olive grove and vineyards. The house is relatively remote but within easy 10mins drive to towns. A car is essential for a stay at this property. Jacopo was a great host and readily available if we needed him, and gave great tips and advice vice on places to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. ”

“My wife and I stayed six weeks in this large (2BR), spotlessly clean apartment, perfectly located in a lovely historic town. Hosts are very accommodating, arranging weekly housekeeping (grazie, Marianna), and secure near-by parking for when we rented a car. While it’s an easy walk to the train to visit Florence and other Tuscan sites, we preferred Pistoia, with abundant restaurants and bars on picturesque piazzas and a large, vibrant market every Wednesday and Saturday.
