“Great place to explore the nearby areas (Pitlochry, Dunkeld). We needed a space for 4 and a Bernese Mountain dog and it was a good size. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Once we figured out the heating system, it was all good. Would happily come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the BBQ.”

“Ilona’s cottage provided a cozy and comfortable base for our family of 6 for the 3 days we spent in the area. A beautiful property, the cottage is spacious, tidy and very well laid out - on clear days, we even had a view of the top of Ben Nevis! The short tunnel was exciting for the kids and grown-ups in our group. Ilona was wonderful and so easy to coordinate with. Overall, a charming stay that we will remember fondly. ”

The second bedroom is very small with tiny beds so if you have kids that are teens you may find it too cramped, an adult would certainly struggle to sleep on the beds. Let down in a few areas which if addressed would making it top notch, main thing was the master bedroom mattress, it's obviously a cheap mattress and not very comfortable, the kitchen is……

“We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room.
