The amenities at this hotel were great, the hot tub and pool were clean and parking was convenient and close to the side door by elevators for my disabled mother. However, I booked a double queen accessible suite with a walk-in shower with a shower seat. When we arrived at 3pm for check in I was told our room was not ready yet. They were still renovating so I was offered a standard room that was ready. I was charged for for the suite and said alright I'll wait for the room I booked because I needed the accessibility for my mother. We returned a half hour later to a different desk associate who informed me that not only was the room I booked still not ready, but they said my booking was a standard room. The only accessible room they had was a king suite so I said I would take it. However when we finally arrived to the room there were no light bulbs in any of the lamps, the wall mounted soaps in the shower were empty, and there was a tub and no shower seat so my mother couldn't even get in the shower during our stay. I headed down to the hot tub and there were also no towels stocked in the pool area. Were the room to be stocked appropriately and the room I booked ready this would have been a pleasant stay.
