The unit I reserved had no functioning internet connection and Kasa was a huge pain to deal with, with multiple phone calls, lengthy (30 minutes) on hold, multiple instructions to restart routers, turn switches on and off, access panels in the wall above the range. I lost a day of work and was left in a sour mood. Apparently the company is located elsewhere and they had no local staff to fix the issue. They ultimately moved me to a different unit in the building which, while larger, was a bit rundown and had several obvious maintenance issues (e.g. the heavy bathroom sliding door was broken and off its track - thankfully I was traveling alone and did not need the door for privacy. In sum, there was just too much hassle on this 3-night visit and I feel Kasa could and should have done me better.
