This should not be listed as a functioning hotel!! The place is a mess!! The whole place felt and looked dirty!! I had stayed at this same hotel many years ago when it was a Hampton Inn and at time it was a nice place . It seems that the new owners of the now called McKnight Hotel are way over their head! It seems trying to remodel the hotel without having any real capital to do all the repairs. I feel the new owners of this hotel don’t have the revenue to really do up the renovation the correct way! It also seemed there were homeless living as renters!! When we finally got to our room but not before passing some empty partial renovated rooms without any hardware locks on the doors. It felt very creepy walking down the dirty and stained carpeted hallway to our room! Our room looked and felt dirty also our toilet wasn’t clean and didn’t flush. We really didn’t feel safe staying there so we ended up leaving and got another hotel to spend the night!! I would suggest that you remove this hotel off of your listing!

The former Hampton Inn - I figured "sure, what could go wrong?" I was dead wrong. The facility is pretty run down. I woke up to a very wet bathroom from a leak in the ceiling. Most creature comforts were functioning (heat/ac, tv, wifi). No bugs or rodents, but it was just a super run down facility with a staff that didn't appear to really care. When I mentioned the ceiling leak to the front desk, she kindof shrugged it off and said "I'll leave a note for maintenance", like she was not surprised at all.

This is a basic hotel. The pricing was inexpensive and they do have a pool, though check if it’s open before booking. The thing I really want to highlight is that the staff is very friendly, and made me feel welcome.

The hotel is just a shell of its self. No vending machines, few working ice machines. Work needs to be done on the whole operation NO Pool working. Our second room was clean and the toilet worked fine unlike the first room.

Hotel was very dirty. The whole hotel stinks like weed and cigarettes. I waited 15 minutes to check in the manager that was there was on the phone and made me wait to check in until she was done with her phone call. No vending machines for drinks. The bathroom in my room was dirty stains all over the shower curtain the tub looked like it hadn’t been clean in awhile. Beds were really hard and uncomfortable the paint on the walls were pealing off their was mold on the tub. Will never go here again they should be shut down till it is taken care of.

This was by far the most disgusting place I stayed. The room smelt like someone just got done hotboxing it with Marlboro Reds. Cigarette burns in the carpets, signs of bed bugs, and the “complimentary breakfast” was a tin of peaches and a water bottle. The staff is nice enough but the place is just in horrible condition. It clearly has not been maintained since the Hampton sold it.
