This was perfect for a quick stay! The motel is very clean, I had 0 issues with my room. The building is well-maintained, and the area is great. The woman who works at the front desk is extremely friendly. I had breakfast delivered two days in a row, and she always had it at the counter waiting for me with a big smile and a good morning. I would definitely stay here again!

The property is old and rundown. It was fairly clean. Our room should have been advertised as in-room sauna since there was a hot water leak in the bathtub that caused us to leave windows open and run the air conditioner non-stop to avoid excessive dampness (even the towels in the bathroom were damp).

The check in staff was so helpful, happy and kind. The check in made me feel special. The room was clean and quiet. I have stayed in nicer budget hotels, but for an overnight stay in Placerville it was completely worth it. Coffee machine and fridge in room. A comfortable bed and aircon and heater was quiet, worked well and ended up being a cozy stay. Kudos to the woman who checked me in

Booked a last minute overnighter to make it easier to hit the slopes the following morning. Check-in was easy and straight-forward. Had to use the window, because they close the office at like 7:30 and we rolled in around 9pm. For the price it was just your average motel. I took one star off because the room description said two queen beds and I got a room with 1 double and 1 full. Not even a single queen. Wish I at least got what I paid for. Otherwise didn’t have high expectations going in. So I was still overall satisfied.

Registration was a mess. They claim they didn't have my registration and was going to charge me more than what I had arranged through Expedia. You register through a window and it was pouring down rain. I showed them my confirmation and they argued with me. They finally gave me the rooms at the price on the website. They had to give me a refund. The rooms are run down. The heating barely worked. I won't be staying there ever again

This is not the Ritz. But if you need a decent place to stay for a reasonable price this the place. Most times when you travel alone all you’re looking for is a comfortable bed with clean sheets and a shower that works well. Totally fills the bill. I’ve stayed here probably 10 times. I keep coming back so they’re doing something right. Plus the staff is amazing
