“This was a one night stay. The property is an older house in the city center. We were here to help a friend celebrate a birthday. The B&B was very close to the party making it easy to come and go. The room was small but comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. ”

“The main heating system was broken, requiring use of the backup system. The room was EXTREMELY cold and it took nearly an hour to warm up. No one had gone into the room to preheat it. Poor service. The back up heating system was VERY noisy and disrupted my sleep all night. Not a pleasant experience and I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!”

“Coming back from a late concert at the Kate and this place was close by. The employees were very nice and the rooms were in great shape. The heat/ac was working very well; our room was around 75 degrees our entire stay. No problems checking out either. ”

“The staff was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. It's 10 minutes from downtown which was convenient for us to visit family. The rooms are as expected in a motel but the beds are comfortable for a no frills stay. It really is the best option for Old Saybrook for reasonable price. It is right off I-95 but the double paned windows they put in keep the highway noise low. I couldn't hear it at night. I highly recommend the Liberty Inn.”
